What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
I enjoyed doing the line work with acrylic paint and exploring mark-making while developing this project.
How long did it take to complete your project?
It is a school project so I had an intense six weeks to develop this book, including aspects of characters, story, storyboard, and so on. It took me another two weeks to refine the final artwork.
What is your dream commission?
Projects that need playful characters or contain witty plots would be lovely. Also, I love cinemas so any project related to films, such as film poster or set design, would be amazing as well.
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I love creating wacky but cute creatures or monsters. Also love doing observational drawings of architecture and streetscape while traveling.
