Preferred Pronoun?
She/Her

Why did you choose to enter this work?
I think this project best represents what I currently appreciate in my work: the collaboration between different people and disciplines, the fact that it was born from a meeting and a discussion.

What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
The egg? All the organic connection around genesis, the work around plant and stone. Also its context, the fact that it's in a magazine focused on fashion and well-being, yet manages to integrate

What excites you most about being shortlisted?
Honestly, this opportunity is incredible! It would allow me to meet and exchange with other artists, as well as collaborate with clients from diverse backgrounds. It's also a boost for my confidence!

Where do you usually work?
I mainly work from home on a tablet. The train is also one of the places where I create; it's actually often where ideas come to me, especially when I'm absorbed in music.

How long did it take to complete your project?
The deadline was tight but I still had several days to work on it, so it wasn't a total rush. The idea came quite easily; I had already worked with the magazine before, so I knew how it operated.

What is your dream commission?
I think it would be something related to scenography or even video games. The whole idea of constructing universes fascinates me! It's far from editorial work, but I enjoy exploring different fields.

What’s your favourite thing to draw?
It depends. I really enjoy drawing organic elements such as plants, especially orchids with their unique and fascinating appearance. Their diversity of shapes and colors particularly inspires me.

What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Be curious about your surroundings, not just focusing on other illustrators; there are so many inspiring fields. Also, it might not be the best advice, but be strict with yourself (within reason!).

What are your plans for the future?
I'm trying to turn this activity into a full-time pursuit, and I also have a few collaborations in the works that I'm eager to start. I hope to bring these projects to fruition.
