- Why did you create this work?
This series, commissioned by Atavist, follows the author’s effort to solve a decades-old cold case: the murder of Harry Anglemyer, the openly gay man who ran Ocean City’s largest fudge empire. The illustrations depict key plot points and evidence that emerge as the story unfolds. - How were your illustrations used?
These illustrations were used to promote and accompany the digitally-published long-form article. - What materials and techniques did you use?

NATE SWEITZER is a Chicago-born Illustrator who graduated from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. His work illustrates human stories through conceptual solutions and textural mark-making. He specializes in publishing, editorial and poster illustration. His clients include the L.A.
