- Why did you create this work?
This series was a personal study of light, as it relates to the rhythm of days. During my time working in northern Italy, this was my daily office window view over the iconic Monviso. Every new moment offered a slight variation of light and colour from the previous one, creating a never ending spectacle for the eye. - How were your illustrations used?

Myriam Wares is a French-Canadian illustrator from Montreal. Her work touches on a variety of themes, notably natural sciences and technology, mythology and surrealism. Initially a self-taught artist, she later completed her professional training in illustration at Dawson College. After a short period of in-house work, she decided to launch her freelance business in 2019. - Where are you currently based?
