Why did you choose to enter this work?
This project was about rethinking the purpose of packaging design and illustration for me. I tried to create packaging that should be not only beautiful but also a means of communication.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
It has a strong concept and idea behind it.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
It's my first time so I'm excited to be a part of so big event as WIA and to stand in one line with so many amazing illustrators.
Where do you usually work?
Most of the time I work at a home studio where my laptop and Wacom tablet are but as always I can work somewhere else using my iPad.
How long did it take to complete your project?
It took about several months to complete this project.
What is your dream commission?
I'd like to be a part of a creative agency to create product and packaging illustrations for big brands. And maybe one day have collaborations with brands and companies like Procreate,Adobe,Nike, etc.
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I think animals and imaginative illustrations and pictures about nature around us.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Be free in your drawings and don't be scared to do something wrong or to draw not "Right" line.
What are your plans for the future?
To live this life )
