Why did you choose to enter this work?
I created this series in 2022 spring which was a very hard period for many of us. I wanted to find joy again and I decided to join the 36 days of type challenge and draw something playful every day.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
I really love how the playfulness of each letter shape turned out with these characters.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
I’m thrilled to be among such talented illustrators. It’s a great opportunity to showcase my work and also to connect with fellow creative people.
Where do you usually work?
I work from a co-working space shared with very creative people. I go there a few times a week, while I love to create alone from home or a nice coffee place.
How long did it take to complete your project?
It took 36 days, each day one letter.
What is your dream commission?
I love to work on different surfaces and I really love to do murals one day!
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I always love to draw happy human beings and cats!
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Keep practicing and don’t let failures stop you. Ambition will pay off.
What are your plans for the future?
Continue my freelancing career and pitch my work to dream clients and stay true to myself.
