Why did you choose to enter this work?
This work is inspired by my feelings of confusion and insecurity about my future career. It represents my recent thoughts and is a relatively profound piece.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
I particularly love the aspect of this work presented in GIF format, as it explores dynamic effects in the best possible way.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
While I have the opportunity to see more outstanding works, I also have the chance to be seen by more people.
Where do you usually work?
I always work from home, listening to music alone, but I constantly have to resist the temptation of my bed.
How long did it take to complete your project?
For a month, I did some preliminary work for this project, such as drawing sketches.
What is your dream commission?
I want to create interesting projects, such as ones that tell an engaging story or make people laugh out loud when they see them.
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I enjoy drawing a series of everyday life moments. If something interesting or delightful happens, I like to capture and record it.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Just draw it first！
What are your plans for the future?
My understanding of drawing is not yet very profound, as I am still a student. During my time in school, I will continue experimenting and learning. I hope to publish my book in future.
