Irmela Schautz is an award-winning illustrator of books for children as well as general science books, literature and magazines. She studied painting and stage/costume design at the Academies of Fine Arts in Münster and Stuttgart. She teaches at the Academy for Illustration and Design in Berlin. For the Book of Time she collaborated with renowned children’s book author Kathrin Köller. - Where are you currently based?
