Why did you choose to enter this work?
I loved this piece because it combines various themes that are important to me. This was an exercise of opinion on how our urban lifestyles affect not only our communities but the entire world.

What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
It's nice to notice that kind of validation from your peers and getting to know many other talented artists from all over the world!

What excites you most about being shortlisted?
The chance to get to showcase my work to a broad audience in hopes of getting to get to collaborate with professionals.

Where do you usually work?
I work in my home studio. I enjoy combining techniques and always do a mix between analogous and digital formats because it helps me achieve a hand made finishing with a good attention to detail.

How long did it take to complete your project?
It took between 2 and 3 weeks between feedbacks and corrections.

What is your dream commission?
I would love to work on books like fantasy stories, fables or a poem compound.

What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I love to do quiet images if that's a thing. The type of art that has some peaceful melancholia in it.

What is your best tip for other illustrators?
I would say never stop learning. There are a lot of ways to learn from past illustrators and new technologies.

What are your plans for the future?
I plan to keep on growing my career by expressing my points on view of the world through my illustrations. And I hope to get to work with people with similar interests!
