- Why did you create this work?
This book is a chapter book and I was asked to illustrate this text. I can relate to the feeling that Lila has, as much as I love traveling and exploring, I've always wished to belong somewhere. This is the brief I was given: Lila Sacher was orphaned and lives with her uncle Argus, a brilliant and extravagant inventor that travels the world. Lila's deepest wish is to have a place to call home. - How were your illustrations used?
