Inspired by chronic illnesses, mental health and dreams/nightmares.
I’m a digital artist facinated with the macabre, deep sea and myths & legends. Skeletons are one of my favourites as they have no obvious gender or stereotypes, so are a blank canvas to portray emotions.

Some days I’m in mental agony and can barely dress myself, other days my legs are so painful I don’t do anything.Mental health and physical health can both be painful, even if we don’t have any bruises to show for it. It can be totally debilitating, especially when it’s not taken seriously. I lose sleep, lose my appetite, lock myself away - and it’s ok.
Do what you need to do to survive, mentally and physically, we’re all in it together.

Twisted SquidBeautiful DanceI came up with this digital painting while recovering from my Trochleoplasty and MPFL reconstruction. It was an extremely painful operation, but my pain and care was managed so well, almost choreographed like a beautiful dance. The poppies in the rib cage of one of the skeletons represents opium poppies for morphine. I often draw skeletons as they don’t resemble any particular gender, race, stereotypes.
