Shóna Hanley
Hi I’m Shóna (It’s Irish, and it’s pronounced Show-nah – just call me Sho!) Hanley. I am an illustrator based in the rural south(ish) west of the Republic of Ireland, and an avid fan of dogs, pattern making and printing. I started my career in 2019, after studying art with the Open College of Art. I never like to be sitting still and I love-love-love observing people and things and places. I love dogs – they are one of my favourite themes to draw and my own three are a source of constant inspiration. I license my artwork to companies for use on the products, sometimes sell some art prints online and I illustrate for Children’s books.
