Karen Moore

Karen Moore is a freelance illustrator and picturebook maker from Co Durham.

She grew up on the outskirts of Middlesbrough and moved to London in 1992 to study Costume design for stage and screen at Wimbledon College of Art.

Karen now lives in the small town of Eaglescliffe, on the border of Co Durham and North Yorkshire. She draws inspiration for her work from her time in the theatre, the places she has been, and the people and animals she has met along the way.
