Street Scenes and the City curated by AOI StaffWaterloo SunsetRetro travel poster-style inspired design of view eastwards down the Thames from Waterloo Bridge including The National Theatre in London, which was part of London Transport Museum's 2019 Poster Prize for Illustration: London Stories exhibition.I was inspired by the late afternoon shadows that fall upon the National Theatre in London, dramatically enhancing the brutalist architecture as viewed from Waterloo Bridge, hence the name Waterloo Sunset.
