I grew up with woods and fields for a playground and eight brothers and sisters in a ramshackle house looking down into Bath. Since then I?ve lived in the Seychelles and Australia, beside the Severn Estuary, and overlooking a valley in Stroud ? always with a beautiful view, nature, pictures and stories.My first published illustrations were for a series of books for teenagers, Lions Teen Tracks. My latest illustrations, for Barking Dog Art, are published by Hodder Education and Oxford University Press. I am currently working on my children’s picture books inspired by the natural world and, specifically, wildlife migration.I work on paper, drawing and painting in mixed media, aiming to let the picture tell the story, and for something there isn?t always words for.
