Catherine is an illustrator and artist based in her studio in rural Leicestershire.
Inspired by the natural world and everyday life, Catherine’s love of colour and pattern flow into her work.
Her designs start out as a hand-drawn or painted artwork and she loves to use a variety of materials, particularly gouache and watercolour. The use of digital tools then allows her to refine and develop her work, bringing her illustrations to life.
Catherine worked for many years as an in-house senior designer for a major greetings card company before going freelance. Her work has been in various retailers such as Clinton cards, Paperchase and in many independent stores and globally as far as Australia.
When she is not drawing and painting, Catherine enjoys walking in the great outdoors and spending time with her family. She loves to travel, soaking up culture.
