Led by Sheridan’s Associate Gabriella Playford, this session will look at the legalities of working in the states. It is aimed at AOI Agent Members. In particular the session will look at;
-Differences between US and UK contracts and the implications of this
-Common pitfalls in US contracts and how to avoid them
– IP considerations and the concept of “work for hire”
-Implications of bad contracts
The presentation will run for 30 minutes, with a further 20 mins available for questions.
This session was previously cancelled due to lockdown. We recognise that some of the areas of concern will have shifted due to the pandemic, and welcome a round table conversation in the second half of the session.
