Walk & Draw / York Illustrators meet up
Meet UpsBring your favorite tools and material to draw on, a packed lunch and hopefully no brolly, but you never know!
The Plan:
* 10:15am Meet at the Perky Peacock, pick up any refreshments
* 10:30am We’re walking and drawing! Illustrators are free to walk and draw at their own pace along the route
* 12:00pm Meet at Ciao York (just inside the entrance of the museum gardens) for refreshments, a picnic and to share what we’ve drawn (and probably more drawing)
Points of interest along the way include:
* Perky Peacock
* The Memorial gardens
* The Bridge/Drawing from the bridge
* Lendal Tower
* The Riverside/boats
* Ice Cream Boat/Legend of the Ouse (if docked)
* Museum Gardens
The route has step free access with some inclines.There are toilets including disabled loos/changing places nearby at the library (the library is also good to shelter from bad weather!).
