Thanks to each and every one for coming along to the January event. It was great to meet you all. 43 illustrators in one room was a brilliant first session turnout for the revival of the Sheffield meet-up. Thanks for bringing the enthusiasm and ideas for what you would like to see and do going forward. We’re working through all the ideas that came up and are going to be finding the key themes to plan future events. As explained in the earlier Instagram post, based on feedback the group name is changing from ‘Ayup Illustrators’ to ‘Sheffield Illustrators’. This will be changing on Instagram with a brand new logo.
The February meet-up will be a relaxed drink and draw session. Please bring along your favourite go to art materials. It will be a chance to chat, and draw, with some fun optional drawing prompts. Alder Bar have kindly agreed to host us again, and we’re pleased to be returning there.
Please note: January’s meet-up quickly sold out so don’t delay, secure your spot by registering on Eventbrite. Ideally one registration per person so that we can build a mailing list to let everyone know about future meet-ups.
