Positive change through illustration w/ Meg Dobbyn

Meet Ups

Join us online to find out more about Meg’s practice, her teaching, activism and community engagement as well as how she makes a living and finds clients. It’s going to be informative and inspiring – we can’t wait and hope you can join us! Meg will do a talk, and there’ll be plenty of time for Q+A afterwards.

Book your ticket via our Eventbrite.

All illustrators are welcome, regardless of background, education, skill, age, location, etc.

Please note this is an online event, run on Zoom.

Meg Dobbyn is a freelance illustrator living in Leeds. A lot of the work she creates centres around natural habitats and themes with a rooted interest in folklore and storytelling. Although she is inspired by Yorkshires natural environment, magic and imagination play a key part in bringing her work to life. As well as illustration she also organises and teaches community art sessions. She is interested in the way art can be taught to give people a voice and empower them to express themselves and fight for positive change.

BREW is a quarterly, relaxed illustrator’s get together hosted by Vicky Hughes and Ekaterina Sheath. Our meetup is part of the Association of Illustrator’s network of local events: connecting and strengthening the community so we can support and learn from each other.
