Portfolio with Purpose: Curating your work for the clients you want

Join the AOI and guest speaker Tess Redburn to learn how to shape a clear, compelling narrative through your illustration portfolio.

This session will cover how to highlight your strength, create visual cohesion, and present your work in a way that resonates with the clients you want to attract. We’ll dive into editing, layout, showing work in progress and self-authored work, and artist statements – bringing it all together to tell your unique story.

This session will be delivered by Tess Redburn

Tess is a creative strategist and producer. A former agent at Central Illustration Agency, she now works with The Place Bureau, commissioning and producing art and design projects for the public realm. She has led portfolio reviews for The AOI and guest lectured at Bath Spa and UWE, teaching business skills to designers and illustrators. Tess is also an artist herself and designer for the record label Livity Sound.
