Paint Watercolour Plants in a Loose and Expressive Style

Join artist, Helen Ridley, to create a series of botanical illustrations – all studied from life. Be inspired by reference images of tropical plants and seasonal foliage to produce your original work.

You’ll be guided through the artistic process in this small group workshop. Explore stylised compositions of plants and foliage and be encouraged to exploit a wide variety of media throughout (such as watercolour, ink, pastels and pen).

Experiment with mark-making, and work towards a larger final piece of work to take away.
