This event is a wonderful chance for the young readers of new children’s book ‘Crabbit Chops!’ to meet author J.M. McClatchie and illustrator Jade Lawley at Tywcross Zoo.
Not only will there be the opportunity to purchase and get a signed copy the book from the gift shop, but there will also be crafts, activities and balloons to entertain children and to make their experience even more special, fun and memorable. A competition is also being held for children to submit drawings or paintings of their favourite characters from the book and there is also the option to submit a poem about kindness! The lucky winner will be awarded ten signed copies of the book and bookmarks for their school to enjoy.
Children will be able to submit their competition entires right up until the closing date of 17th November! We really look forward to hosting this event as it is a special chance to chat to all the little readers in person. Crabbit Chops! promotes kindness and inclusivity and this is a message that, now more than ever, needs to be highlighted and shared.
This is a free event for children under 10.
