Harbour Draw / Bristol illustrator meet-up / Pip
Meet UpsJoin our Bristol meet-up group of illustrators for a daytime outdoor journey around Bristol’s harbourside. This is a great way to meet your fellow illustrators, chat illustration and do some sketching of Bristol’s bustling harbourside. Bristol Harbour Festival will also be underway so they’ll be plenty of entertainment, food stalls, drink options and music along the way.
Book your ticket here.
The Pip meet-up team will lead you around the harbour with short drawing stop-points and opportunities to share drawings and swap stories.
Please meet us at Bristol’s Amphitheatre at 11am for our first drawing moment. Please see the schedule below for where we’ll be journeying and exact drawing locations for each time.
We’d love you to join from the start, but you are welcome to drop in at a time that suits you – see the schedule below to figure out where we’ll be at what time. We’ll also update our Instagram stories with our locations as we go along, should you be running late and need to find us. After the meet-up ends at 2pm feel free to continue to enjoy the Bristol Harbour Festival.
Please bring your own sketchbook and drawing materials. You might also like to bring a bottle of water, snacks, suncream and a hat. There are also food and drink options on route, via the festival venues, as well as toilets.

About Pip:
PIP is the Bristol meet-up for illustrators, supported by the The Association of Illustrators (AOI) – a non-profit membership organisation for illustrators supporting the illustration industry. Open to all illustrators (not just members of the AOI) – let’s get-together and share best experiences, meet others and share knowledge. That’s why we’ve titled the Bristol meet up ‘PIP’ – meaning “Put Into Practice”. Please follow Pip on Instagram for updates and more.
Accessibility:
The AOI would like to make events accessible to all, where possible. Please let us know your access requirements at least one week in advance by emailing [email protected]
