You’re invited to come and see an exhibition of artwork put together during lockdown by Skint Skateboards, a Leeds/York based company that has collaborated with 13 illustrators and artists to create a new skateboard range, and new opportunities, during this difficult time.Sadly, there will be no live music this time around, but there will be a virtual and physically projected showcase featuring some of the North’s finest new music. This showcase has been delivered by Young Thugs, York’s own record label and recording studio.

The synergy between these two goes way beyond respect, with Skint having created decks for Metallica, Sonic Youth and Bull, through a collaboration with EMI records and Young Thugs.

Can’t make the event? No problem! The artwork will be displayed digitally on the Drawsome and York Design Week instagram accounts from next week.
