Drawing session at the Hunterian Museum / London meet-up

Meet Ups, Workshops

Calling London-based illustrators, immerse yourself in the fascinating world of anatomy, history, and art with a sketching session at the Hunterian Museum.

Bring your sketchbooks, unleash your creativity, and experience the fascinating intersection of art, science, and history in one of London’s most iconic museums. We can’t wait to see the unique perspectives you’ll bring to life!

Located in the heart of London at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the museum offers a unique setting for you to sketch, observe, and be inspired by over 2,000 anatomical specimens, surgical instruments, and historical artifacts.

As the largest public display of human anatomy in England, the museum invites you to explore the extraordinary collections of 18th-century surgeon and anatomist John Hunter. From delicate anatomical preparations to intricate surgical tools, there’s no shortage of subjects that will challenge and inspire your creative process.

Whether you’re looking to capture the precise details of human anatomy, study the evolution of medical instruments, or simply enjoy the stimulating atmosphere, this event promises to be a few hours of artistic discovery and collaboration.

  • Please meet at the front of the museum.
  • Afterwards, you’re invited to stay for a chat and a cup of tea at the museum cafe, if you’re able.
