In conversation with AOI board director Montana Forbes, Dr. Karen Jiyun Sung will discuss academic research in illustration, her observations on image making and text, exploring of feelings on immigration and being multicultural, both physically and psychologically and why that is important to her.

Karen will share her work, experience in academia, the significance of her findings and expanding the knowledge and understanding of the illustration practice and the industry.
