Comic Drawing Workshop w/ Molly Pukes / Leeds illustrator meet-up / Brew
Meet UpsMolly Pukes is a cartoonist and Illustrator based in Leeds and an experienced workshop host – we’re in for a treat! In this meet-up, we’ll be learning how to write and draw simple four panel comics, make our own paper comic books and learn about visual storytelling. Book your ticket here!
Here’s a schedule for the evening:
- 18.30 – 19.00: Arrivals, get to know each other, order food and drinks!
- 19.00 – 19.15: Intro talk from Molly
- 19.15 – 19.45: Q+A
- 19.45 – 21.00: A workshop to help you create your own comic to take home.
- You’re welcome to stay later, until the pub closes!
It’ll be a relaxed, friendly evening, you’re welcome to come along alone or in a group. All illustrators are welcome, regardless of background, education, skill, age, etc.
We will provide paper and pencils, but if you’ve got other materials that you enjoy using, please bring them along! We’ll also have a few communal scissors and staplers; but if you can bring your own, that would be helpful.
Book your ticket here.
