Self Assessment tax returns are due in the UK on 31st January. Claire Bullen and Laura Branch from accountancy firm Alexandra Anthony will be going over the basics so you feel confident submitting your return – and planning ahead for next year.
They will also be talking about the forthcoming Making Tax Digital for Income Tax which is a huge change requiring most sole traders to electronically submit their income and expenditure from bookkeeping software each quarter rather than completing the current once a year tax return.
The session will focus on sole traders, and Claire and Laura will talk through the process for around half an hour, before opening up to questions for the remaining 30 minutes.
