In this webinar we will explore how to make a plan for your illustration business. We will look at clarifying markets, planning for growth and reasons why you might need to set-up or convert from being self-employed to a limited company.
We will also explore how the nature of illustration is changing in terms of illustrators creating their own content, products and attracting commissions. This webinar is opportunity for you to create a new focus, strategy or vison for yourself.
We expect that you will have been working for 5+ years, and have some sort of business plan in place.
This webinar is for more established illustrators.
About Alison Branagan
Alison Branagan is an author and visual arts consultant and an associate lecturer at Central Saint Martins. She has written several business start-up and enterprise books her most recent publication is ‘The Essential Guide to Business for Artists & Designers’ (2nd Edition, Bloomsbury). She has also devised and facilitated upon many enterprise projects for universities and business support organisations. She has a Masters degree in Applied Art and Visual Culture, is an Associate of the Institute of Consulting, a Member of the Society of Authors and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She is also an associate of the National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education, a consultant to The Association of Illustrators and a Craft’s Council Talent Development Associate.
