Escape lockdown and enter into the unique and playful world of illustration with Tiny Grey’s Creative Director, Sophie Scott-Lewis.
Over the past decade, Sophie has developed a multitude of colourful worlds as a means to escape the daily grind, including landscapes adorned with ice-cream mountains, lollipop trees, friendly dinosaurs and soaring rockets.
In collaboration with Sophie and the rest of the group, each participant will begin planning and sketching their very own escapist artwork inspired by lockdown.
Part 1: Sophie discusses her previous personal and client work, and how her own struggles with mindfulness have informed concepts in some of her latest illustrations.
Part 2: Participants of the group will be encouraged to share their own stories of lockdown as a way to brainstorm creative ideas for their final piece of art.
Part 3: All group members will take part in a live sketching workshop where everyone is encouraged to start sketching their own artwork along with Sophie, while she discusses some key rules of design to help informyour final piece.
