Why did you choose to enter this work?
I chose to enter Master Bao's Pastry Commercial Illustrations because it not only showcases my ability to blend creativity with commercial appeal, but also highlights my childhood memory.

What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
My favorite thing about my shortlisted project, is how it combines artistic creativity with effective branding. I love how the illustrations capture the essence and charm of Master Bao’s pastries.

What excites you most about being shortlisted?
Being shortlisted excites me because it validates my hard work and creativity. It offers recognition from industry experts and opens up new professional opportunities.

Where do you usually work?
I generally prefer to work in a quiet space like library, office, and study room

How long did it take to complete your project?
It takes me about two weeks to finish the whole piece from the beginning to the final.

What is your dream commission?
My dream commission would be collaborating with a major bran, character designs for a major animated film or video game. Creating illustrations for a renowned magazine like The New Yorker.

What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I am in favor of drawing the things, and stories happened in my daily life, recreating them based on my imagination.

What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Keep practicing consistently to improve your skills. Seek inspiration from diverse sources and explore different styles. Network with other artists and potential clients.

What are your plans for the future?
Expanding my portfolio with diverse projects. Exploring new styles and techniques. Seeking collaborations with other artists or brands. Building a strong online presence, attending workshops.
