- Why did you create this work?
A journalist Maksym Eristavi mainstreaming the global awareness about the legacy of Russian colonialism. Right before Russia invaded Ukraine, he started a Twitter thread listing all Russian colonial invasions over the last century and highlighting one specific pattern that they all went by. The post has gone viral. IST Publishing made an illustrated guide 101 of Russian colonial cases - How were your illustrations used?
