Lou Kiss
Hope

Editorial

Commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
Commission from 168 Óra for their Christmas issue about hope. My illustrations focus on various interpretations of hope. Hope to see friends and family for the first time after the pandemic, hope to fix a broken relationship or finally break free from a toxic one, and hope for a better year. My work was made to encourage people to never lose hope because there is always something better to come.

How was the illustration used:
The illustration was published in 168 Óra magazine.

How did you make this work:
I always use Procreate for my illustrations. First I draw a draft, then choose the colours before I finalise my artwork. I like to add texture as a last step.
