This series of illustrations is self directed. It is about different scenes, including an umbrella shop, a summer garden, a toy room and a collection of mirrors. Each scene is an open-ended imaginative space.

Yuewei Shi is an illustrator based in New York. She mainly focuses on editorial illustrations, commercial illustrations, books and surface design. She loves taking objects and settings from reality related to her interests, experiences, and culture and then twisting them with her imagination and humor. She enjoys building imaginary worlds and drawing unique characters.
