Why did you make this work:
These images were inspired by a process of healing from a personal crisis I recently went through. I wanted to express in a simple and honest way, using the graphic shape of a heart, key elements for me in healing my hurting heart: compassion, friendship, faith, courage, divine love and guidance, a connection with nature and the elements, and trusting my own inner light to shine through the dark.

How was the illustration used:
For my own personal purposes of expression and exploration :)

How did you make this work:
Hand printed acrylic on paper: I cut out stencils for each color layer and filled them up using sponges. This style is inspired by classic screen printing techniques but still expresses, in my feeling, a slightly more raw personal touch.

Biography:
Ayelet is a visual creative from Tel Aviv, Israel. She studied graphic design at H.I.T, practiced various fields of the graphic design industry, and is recently focusing on illustration and visual art. Inspired by love, music, spirituality and the mysteries of the universe and likes to cooperate with like-minded people for the greater cause of opening humanity's hearts and minds.
