Why did you make this work:
These illustrations were produced for a picture book that I set my own theme for and worked on. This project started with the intention of letting each of us look into our attitude toward life by invoking the perception that the time given to each of us is not infinite.

How was the illustration used:
These illustrations were used as full-page spread images for a 28-page hardcover picture book.

How did you make this work:
All elements of the image were drawn in monotone using materials such as graphite, charcoal and watercolours on several pieces of cold pressed paper. Layered and coloured digitally in the last step.

Biography:
Jungho Lee studied graphic design at Hongik University in Seoul. After undergraduate, he has worked as an illustrator for various media. Recently, he has focused on works for books and making his own picture book.
