Why did you make this work:
Aunts are Amazing is a book about a bond between our main character, a five-year old boy, and his aunt who babysits him for a day. But oh, what a day! The boy gets to do all the things that he loves and is not allowed at home. The story is about how much single mothers especially need to rely and trust 'the village' to help them raise their children.

What materials and techniques did you use?:
I used Procreate and Photoshop for this project.

How were your illustrations used:
This project is a personal one, and would very much to one day publish this in the form of a children's book.

Biography:
I am originally from Romania, studied Communications, and moved to Berlin in 2017. Ten years ago, I started painting in watercolour and have not stopped drawing, painting, and exploring various media and techniques ever since. I am now mainly focusing on children's book illustration and working towards publishing picture books.
