These illustrations are part of personal project (a graphic novel). Set in a future world, the shaman's Vlog is an adult graphic novel project that follows the journey of Murlï as he navigates between the trials and trepidations of the human world and the bigger natural world around him. The story draws inspiration from sci-fi and indo-futurism to tell a tale of interconnectedness on earth.
What materials and techniques did you use?:
All illustrations were first hand drawn to build the composition and layout, it was then inked and colored on Procreate. It combines the use of ligne claire style with downplayed contrast, emphasized shadows and flat colors to juxtapose the more philosophical subject matter of the drawing.
How were your illustrations used: Currently only for personal use.
