Why did you make this work:
This series of illustrations where created as a response to a course assignment. The assignment consisted of illustrating four images accompanying a short story of our choosing amongst a preselection of 35 stories. I selected 'A Moonlight Fable' by H.G. Wells because of its playfulness, emotion and beautiful imagery.


What materials and techniques did you use?:
The illustrations were made digitally on Procreate.

How were your illustrations used:
The purpose of the illustration are to accompany H.G. Wells's short story 'A Moonlight Fable,' also known as 'The Beautiful Suit.' However they were primarily created for portfolio and exploration intentions.

Biography:
Alexandra is a Greek illustrator based in Belgium. She recently redirected her career from fashion design to pursue her true passion for illustration. Currently, she's navigating the illustration industry while completing an online Masters. Her work is representative yet full of emotion with a dash of fantasy. She has a love for storytelling and human beings.
