Why did you make this work:
In 2023 I participated in the Make Your Mark programmed offered by Inkygoodness Collective. This illustration was created during this workshop for a mock editorial brief. The brief was for an article titled "How to Stock Your Home Bar."

What materials and techniques did you use?:
Started with a hand drawn sketch of the cocktails and their garnishes. I brought the sketch into procreate, adjusted the perspective and redrew the composition there. I finalized the colouring and cropping in photoshop.

How were your illustrations used:
This illustration was never officially commissioned and done as an exercise of self-exploration. It lives on my website and social media account (@minifists). I am considering making prints of it for purchase.

Biography:
Becca McFarlane (aka Minifists) is an illustrator & art director based out of Montreal. As an artist, she is interested in creating expressive work that feels both indulgent & absurd. Her offbeat sense of humour often shines in her illustrations, as does her love for a bold colour palette.
