Animation

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
Inspired by my best friend’s life experience, this work focuses on the psychological changes in the daily life of a social phobic. The first-person approach allows the viewer to immerse themselves in a day in the life of a social phobic, and to understand that social phobia is not just an introvert as society generally perceives it, but a reality that exists around us or in ourselves.

What materials and techniques did you use?:
I mainly used pencil drawing, monotype and collage for all the images, and used PremierPro to created the final animation outcome.

How were your illustrations used:
This is the first animation I created, and it was created as one of the projects in my postgraduate application portfolio.
