Why did you make this work:
The commission was to create visuals for 8 articles about sustainability on The Verge's Website with a defined color palette of 5 colors. Part of the brief: "The Verge is launching Sustainability Week on Nov 13th: "Exploring the sustainable solutions from the tech supply chain". It's meant to be an optimistic look at a variety of innovative, sustainable tech that some people are exploring."

What materials and techniques did you use?:
The illustrations were drawn in Adobe Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos Pro S, with parts created in Adobe Illustrator.

How were your illustrations used:
The illustrations were used on The Verge's website as thumbnails and article headers for several articles.

Nico H. Brausch is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Trier, Germany. After completing his bachelor degree in communication design at university of applied science in Trier, he started his career as freelancing artist. He works primarily as an illustrator for editorials and music covers.
