Why did you make this work:
This non-fiction counting picture book is inspired by life in my hometown, Hong Kong. It features valuable aspects, people, and cultural elements that have already vanished. By highlighting the often unnoticed beauty of Hong Kong, I hope to provide an opportunity for grown-ups to share the true stories of Hong Kong with the next generation.

Biography:
Amber is an illustrator from Hong Kong, currently based in the UK. She began her illustration journey while battling an eating disorder. After working as a commercial illustrator for a few years, she started pursuing her dream of becoming a picture book maker, incorporating her personal stories, culture, and food characters she has created over the years.
