Why did you make this work:
I got my inspiration from the chart function of Excel when I was reading an article 'Big Little Lies' in The New Yorker (Oct 9, 2023) which reported two behavioral science superstars who studied dishonesty are accused of fabricating data. The two people with long noses indicates they are lying. And the charts that look like the collage are curled and broken, which implies the fake data.

Biography:
Lillian Li is a self-taught illustrator based in Beijing. She graduated from Central University of Finance and Economics and worked as a senior financial manager for more than ten years. After deciding to change her career to art, she has been struggling to create illustration with holding the belief to become a professional illustrator.
