Why did you make this work:
Inspired by my reporting project, the "Invisible Edges" series shows the hidden parts of iconic landmarks in New York City. It looks closely at the quiet corners and secret details, bringing out the less-known parts of these well-known sites.

The illustrations are created for making prints and merchandise, experimenting with Augmented Reality (AR) applications, and they are also featured in my portfolio.

Bingjing Sun is a New York-based illustrator whose work merges fantasy, futurism, and humanism. Using vibrant palettes, motion graphics and augmented reality, she crafts immersive pieces aimed at exploring human experiences and envisioning future landscapes. Influenced by her Chinese heritage and global travels, her work propels audiences into new emotional and thoughtful dimensions.
