The title is part of the "Penguin Monarchs", series of books about Britain's kings and queens. It is the ambitious new publishing project from Penguin, which will see 45 titles. Each one about a different English/British Monarch. Each book is newly written by a contemporary historian. The covers includes the signature of each relevant monarch combined with a newly portrait. The client request is to represent the monarchs artistically, rather than representationally. The solution should be expressive.
