New TalentWhy did you make this work:
I created this piece for my illustration student portfolio. The assignment was to make an illustration in the medium of my choice interpreting the them "Ancestors".
What materials and techniques did you use?:
The piece was done in colored pencil, watercolor, and acrylic ink washes with minor digital re-touching in Photoshop. No AI was used at any point in the creative process.
How were your illustrations used: The illustration is currently part of my digital portfolio, and was also submitted for student illustration awards.

Liz Wayant is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator with a focus on publication illustration and book cover design. In addition to freelancing, she is also interning in the art department of St.Martin's Press. Liz is currently located in Denver, CO.
