The AOI, in partnership with the Directory of Illustration, is delighted to announce the 200 projects that have been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2024. The shortlist has been selected from nearly 5,500 entries from 84 countries following a rigorous and independent judging process.

The Shortlist presents some of the most exciting illustration work from around the world. It is an important way for commissioners to discover quality illustrators and a celebration of the illustration industry.

The World Illustration Awards are all about showcasing the fantastic illustration being created worldwide and we do so in the shortlist showcase which also launches today. We will add curated lists, jury, sponsor and partner highlights and much more over the coming weeks, so do keep coming back to see what’s been added.

All shortlisted projects are in contention to win, and on 10 September, the Category Winning and Highly Commended projects in each category will be announced online.
