Here at the AOI we love working with our members whenever we can. You may have spotted this on our social media over the years: from punchy promotional material by Robert Sae-Heng and Leon Edler, fun illustrations by Marianna Madriz for our many events, and magical covers by Jaye Kang for our Client Directories.

This year we’ve tasked the dynamic Cachetejack duo to bring a kick of colour to our new AOI leaflets. AOI Membership Manager Lou Bones says:

“We’ve been huge fans of Cachetejack for many years now, so when the time came for us to look for some new membership branding they were the first Illustrators I thought of. We worked closely with their Agent Matthew Shearer at Bernstein & Andriulli (formally of AOI) who also brought in the wonderful Vasava as designers on the project.

Sure enough they brought their playful style and good vibes to an awesome new suite of images for us, and they were a pleasure to work with throughout. Very excited to launch this project and know our members and audience will enjoy it as much as we do!”

Cachetejack are Nuria Bellver and Raquel Fanjul, a Spanish freelance illustration duo with a nomadic lifestyle. Their illustration universe is full of color, energy, humour and irony. The hand drawn work of Cachetejack takes a fresh and unique style working in a variety of mediums, including—but not limited to—books, magazines, newspapers, clothing, drawing, painting, walls and illustration.

Vasava started up in Barcelona in 1997. Today they are a communication studio with 18 young designers specialising in cross-media projects: print, web, motion, 3D animation, and video.
